SBS SPC3200 In-vehicle infotainment system utilizes the Intel® Atom™ processor Z520PT or Z510PT and the Intel® System Controller Hub (SCH) US15WPT. The 2-chip platform retains a low TDP of less than 5 watts and is based on Intel® 45nm high-k silicon technologywhich significantly increases transistor density over previous 65nm technology.Inheriting such advantages, the SPC3200 integrates in smaller footprints richer functions such as GPS, Bluetooth and media processing. In addition, the industrial temperature range enables SBS to optimize SPC3200 so that it operates within a temperature envelop of minus -40 to +85℃ and adapts to the complicated in-vehicle and industrial computing surroundings.
The Intel Atom-based SBS SPC3200 can support multiple operating systems of Windows, Linux and QNX, and also benefits from a breadth of software applications designed for Intel® platforms. Besides, to end users, the operating system interface will be more user-friendly, and more accessible to the Internet for software upgrading and more information.
